Introduction:

We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Data Quality Analyst to lead and drive enterprise-wide data quality and governance strategies. This senior-level role requires expertise in data profiling, quality assessment, and monitoring, with a strong IT foundation and hands-on experience in any data quality tool (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.), cloud platforms like AWS, and advanced analytics technologies. The Principal Data Quality Analyst will act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, shaping organizational data standards and ensuring the implementation of best practices for data quality and governance.

Your Job:  

  • Define and drive enterprise-level data quality framework, policies, standards, and best practices.

  • Lead complex data profiling, audits, and quality assessments across diverse systems and platforms.

  • Design and oversee scalable data quality monitoring and reporting processes to support organizational goals.

  • Develop strategies for managing data quality across multiple data sources, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

  • Develop and manage KPIs to measure the success of data quality initiatives and ensure continuous improvement

  • Performing statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity

  • Gathering data from data sources to identify and interpret trends

  • Documenting processes and maintaining data records

  • Keeping abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis.

  • Develop, Test and Deploy reports and dashboards to monitor data quality across different data domains.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity.

  • Leverage advanced Python, SQL and Power BI capabilities to analyze and automate data quality processes.

Other Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, data governance, and business units, to ensure alignment on data quality initiatives

  • Communicate complex technical data quality findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

  • Lead workshops, training, and mentoring sessions to upskill teams on data quality and governance best practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Education Bachelor or Masters in Computer / IT related streams

  • 4-6 years of experience in data quality analytics, and data cataloging & lineage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in data profiling, data quality assessment, and enterprise-scale monitoring

  • Mastery of data quality tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.) and frameworks

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and advanced Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and automation.

  • Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for data storage, quality management, and governance

  • Deep understanding of managing multiple data sources across varied formats and systems.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Proven experience leading large-scale data quality and governance initiatives

  • Exceptional ability to influence and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders, including executive leadership.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
