What’s the role?  

As part of the exciting XRM team at ZEISS working on the worlds greatest X-ray Microscope, you will play a vital role in SAP Data Management and Quality Assurance.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Assist in the creation, maintenance, and validation of master data records in SAP, including but not limited to material master, vendor master, and customer master data.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Support data quality initiatives by performing data cleansing and validation tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Documentation: Help document data governance processes, data definitions, and standard operating procedures related to master data management.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and finance, to gather requirements and ensure master data meets business needs.
  • Reporting: Assist in generating reports and dashboards to track master data metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Training Support: Participate in training sessions for end-users on best practices for master data management and SAP usage.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on industry best practices for master data management and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of SAP systems and master data concepts is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills:

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with databases and data management tools. Knowledge of SAP is preferred but not required.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and identify trends or discrepancies.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address data-related issues effectively.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The hourly pay range for this position is $23.00 – $29.00

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
