The insight analyst will be responsible of activities focused on the Aftersales Business like: Service Lane, Wholesale, Product Commodities, Warranty and Campaign.

The mission of Aftersales Sr Insights Specialist is to develop various reports and visualizations in Tableau in an effort to support specified client groups within the business function.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and design technical solutions to meet business needs by translating end user’s requirements and finding innovative, creative visualizations and tools. Must be capable of strategizing and brainstorming with the team to create a viable solution.

  • Assist in development, maintenance and management of advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions primarily using Tableau. Extracts, validates, and analyzes desired data using SAP Business Objects and other extraction tools.

  • Understand and utilize tools to store data effectively within the data mart or data lake solutions, online analytical processing, as well as maintaining data analytics platforms so that data can effectively be mined for information by the end user body.

  • Conduct end user tests and develop database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Capable of participating in the ongoing iterative development process of the team’s projects.

  • Participate in gathering requirements to improving existing systems from teams within the business to streamline workflow and processes.

  • Document processes and terms in an electronic data glossary.

  • Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, by accessing multiple sources, specifically data residing in source systems.

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and transition between projects while working both independently and effectively in teams.

  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Analytics, Business Technology or related. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of directly related professional-level experience required. Business, Aftersales, Purchasing, or Marketing experience is preferred. Technical automotive parts experience beneficial.

  • Experienced in development of Performance Scorecard/KPI related dashboards related to data-driven business analysis.

  • Experience in designing effective data models, trend forecasts, and data analytics visualizations.

  • Proficiency in Snow SQL / Python required.

  • Relational database modeling fundamentals required. Ability to create an analyze complex business calculations in order to synthesize data insights. Experienced with ETL Self-Service Applications desired. Web Development is a plus.

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau required.


Language: Advanced English (expert)

ETL and data visualization Skills: Tableau, Power Bi, Python, SQL and Snowflake.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced analytical skills. Advanced ETL capabilities using SQL, Snow SQL and/or Python to data mine Aftersales business insights and create data pipelines to support business use-case execution.

  • Intermediate to advanced data visualization development skills (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, etc…).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Specific Course/Certifications:

  • Intermediate knowledge of data-related end-user desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

  • Proficient with Tableau, Snowflake and other visualization/big data environment applications to resolve complex problems in day to day situations.

  • Technical and/or programming experience preferred.
