Fixed Income Quantitative Strategy Intern

Compensation: $25-$30/hour

PineBridge Investments is seeking a Summer Fixed Income Quantitative Strategist Intern to gain firsthand experience in quantitative investing. This role will be situated within the quantitative fixed income investment team, providing extensive exposure to the whole life cycle of quantitative investing spanning technology infrastructure, data analysis, alpha and risk modeling, investment strategy development, and portfolio management. Primary Responsibilities: The Fixed Income Quantitative Strategist Intern will focus on a project centered around model development, improving team’s investment capabilities. This project involves working alongside senior research analyst to upgrade existing fixed income asset class models. Throughout the internship, the candidate will be dedicated to this project, which will serve as the focal point of their experience.

Our summer internship program will span over ten weeks and provide students with the opportunity to: interact with and be mentored by our senior team members, assume ownership of significant projects, and experience personal and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • PhDs preferred; Masters acceptable: Math, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science
  • Strong math and statistics, must know Matrix Calculus, Optimizations
  • Proficient in advanced-level R or Python programming
  • Foundational knowledge of Fixed Income
