Position Purpose
RMHC uses its evidence base to quantifying System impact, focus growth plans, continue to advance understanding of family needs and experiences and facilitate alignment of programming to unmet needs. This role supports critical RMHC strategic priorities by building data analytics and business intelligence to help demonstrate and substantiate the RMHC value proposition and influence the health and philanthropic sectors to advocate for and invest in increasing access to quality health care where the family is fully supported and involved. This role will also develop quantitative in-house resources and expertise to measure and track RMHC growth, annual impact, and progress towards System ambitions.
Principle Accountabilities
Reporting to the RMHC Director of Research & Insights, the RMHC Data Analytics Manager is responsible for managing program data analytics, predictive modeling and dashboards across our growing data ecosystem so that System insights can be prepared and leveraged for use in fundraising, strategic planning, efforts to quantify impact, and communications messaging. In addition, this role will support System data collection on annual outcomes, metrics and ad hoc measurement needs as they arise.
Data Analytics and Reporting
- Identify and interpret patterns and trends that help to demonstrate and substantiate RMHC value and impact, inform RMHC business decisions, and meet System demand for data and insights
- Conduct RADAR queries to inform RMHC strategic activities and metrics
- Support the development of ad hoc surveys and measurement as needed
- Develop predictive models for demand of RMHC services and needs for strategic programmatic growth
- Partner with functional leads to develop and provide periodic data analysis and reports; present findings to internal stakeholders
- Support the implementation of data governance policies and best practices and identify processes to improve statistical efficiencies and analysis, embed dashboards and build reports in partnership with the RMHC Technology team.
- Develop and implement recommendations to enable more efficient System data collection through the RMHC Annual Information & Outcomes Report (AIOR).
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize RMHC System annual outcomes, metrics, and growth.
- Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Data Insights and Application
- Oversee and manage RMHC strategic program growth and demand analytics, including implementation and updates to the RMHC demand tool and related data processes in close collaboration with the RMHC Director of Research & Insights and the RMHC Technology team
- Collaborate with the RMHC Development team on proposal development, grants, and other donor and fundraising requests
- Support System education and understanding on different types of data sources and data quality in close collaboration with the RMHC Learning & Development team

The expected salary range for this role is $129,800 – $165,490 per year

Qualifications
Skills, Experience and Competencies
- 7+ years of data analytics experience.
- Experience using advanced analytic techniques, including statistical modeling, forecasting and data mining; experience working in an AI environment a plus.
- Excellent data management and analytic skills, including knowledge of data warehousing concepts and visualization techniques.
- Experience analyzing, combining and visualizing large or disparate datasets from primary and secondary sources
- Proficiency in statistical and data visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, etc. Deep understanding of Tableau functionalities preferred.
- High level of intellectual curiosity, strong analytic skills, and passion for data-driven decision-making and storytelling.
- Ability to manage and manipulate large datasets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience communicating and working across teams in a matrixed environment. Must be able to present, discuss and translate complex data or technical information in a way that supports the understanding and needs of different types of audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, or related field required. Data analytics experience in public health or strategic consulting can serve as a proxy for education.
