The Opportunity

• Location: Serbia

Incode is seeking Senior Software Backend Engineers. Our core values revolve around quality, integrity and impact. We want to bring in someone who will help us to grow this company and build our company culture. 
 
You will help us build our main backend infrastructure and API services from the ground up. We place a high premium on communication, good design and clean implementation. Above all other factors, we are looking for smart, driven candidates who want to be part of a culture of innovation and creativity as we revolutionize sharing. 
 
Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin
• Experience with Spring framework ecosystem
• Experience with observability tools
• Experience with SQL/No SQL databases
• Experience in designing domain models and web API
• Quality oriented approach to software development
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with ML centric systems would be a plus
• Expertise in developing robust and scalable backend systems with architectures capable of supporting millions of active users
• English language proficiency

Responsibilities: 

• Working with a team of backend, frontend and DevOps engineers
• Writing high quality code with test coverage
• Participating in code reviews
• Developing services from model design to support in production
• Managing difficult engineering problems
• Extracting services from monolith
• Managing complex data migrations
