Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:  Position Title: Data Engineer Location: Hybrid - Medellin, Colombia What you will be doing: We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing team as the first and only data-focused specialist. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure particularly setting up and managing our Snowflake data warehouse. In addition, you will assist with the creation and maintenance of data pipelines and be responsible for writing SQL queries for analytics and reporting.

• Setup a data warehouse with Snowflake and data pipeline.
• Work in data migration projects.
• Export data for Business and Product analysis from SQL database.
• Work with multinational teams to accomplish tasks.

Expectations:

• Be available during working hours and communicate availability.
• Define requirements proposals and present them to the Senior Vice President of Technology for approval. Weight different options and explain pros and cons
• Complete task on-time.
• Be able to suggest new technologies or tools to improve team efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with Snowflake.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL or SQL database.
• 2+ years of experience with MongoDB or NoSQL document databases.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a similar role, with a proven track record.
• of designing and implementing data warehousing solutions—preferably in an Enterprise environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or 10+ years of practical experience).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data-related services.
• Experience working with international teams.
• Experience with PowerBI.
