Growth Data Science is looking for an experienced manager to lead our Meta Account Access Data Science team, advancing our understanding of trends in users behavior to influence strategy, identify opportunities to drive growth, and execute on projects by partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver long-term impact.Data Science Manager, Growth Responsibilities
  • Shape the strategic direction of our growth initiatives
  • Advance experimentation and measurement rigor across Growth experiments
  • Invest in data foundations and analytical methods to sharpen our understanding of growth levers
  • Hire & support the DS team in a fast paced environment
  • Define growth goals and partner with a cross-functional team to identify levers
  • Work closely with Cross Functional Organization leads to continuously improve the observability of product health
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, operations research, econometrics, computer science, engineering), or BS/MS in a quantitative discipline with equivalent working experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of work experience (3+ years with a Ph.D.) in applied quantitative field, including 2+ years of experience managing analytics teams
  • 5+ years of experience in a team leadership role, including 2+ years of experience with people management through layers
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working on consumer facing products
  • Experience communicating both in low-level technical details as well as high-level strategies
  • Experience in cross-functional partnership among teams of Engineering, Design, PM, Data Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in translating technical terminology in order to drive understanding and buy-in from a diverse range of stakeholders/executives
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field.
  • Proven track record of leading productive and impact-oriented analytics teams.
  • 7+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis, statistical modeling or machine learning in the experimentation space
  • Prior experience directly working on growth problems for consumer apps

$206,000/year to $281,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
