What you’ll be able to do:
Lead ADAS Algorithm Engineer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Palo Alto, CA). Perform algorithm development, verification, and validation in the simulation environment and in real world driving. Perform signal processing and decision-making algorithm development. Support utilities used for code, algorithm verification and testing. Identify areas of improvement and tradeoffs, changes needed to improve performance, and help meet objectives. Lead a team to deploy Machine Learning algorithms and functions to special compute called accelerators. Design metrics and pass fail criteria for the perception stack and ensure deployed algorithms meet algorithm level as well as feature level sensing requirements.
You'll have...
- A bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or a related field and
- 3 years of experience in the position offered or 3 years of experience performing software development or programming using C, C++, Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, or Python.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 1 year of experience as stated.
- Also requires 1 year of experience developing software in an Agile development environment and using Agile methodologies;
- 1 year of experience developing and implementing control and estimation, signal processing, machine learning, or computer vision techniques; and
- 1 year of experience developing embedded control software.
- Position reports to Palo, Alto, CA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office
- Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $216,590 to $267,240 per year.
