As an AppsTech solution engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical expertise and support during the sales process, particularly in the configuration of demonstrations and responding to tenders (RFXs). You have the chance to develop in a very broad spectrum, ranging from technical, business and product expertise, customer interaction, communication and general IT market knowledge. Successful Solutions Engineers are highly talented individuals that develop and combine technical & product expertise with business knowledge and have the possibility to develop a career in many different IT (and non-IT) functions. Also, they act as business partners within the Solution Engineering eco-system and are seen as trusted advisors by the Sales Community.
The candidate we are looking for will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements and mapping them to Oracle Cloud solutions such as Fusion ERP, EPM, SCM, as well as AI and Oracle PaaS for SaaS services (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Oracle Digital Assistant, VBCS), Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence platform. Their involvement spans discovery meetings, technical architecture discussions, and the delivery of tailored demos, ensuring solutions align with customer needs and showcase Oracle’s capabilities effectively.
Technical skills:
· Very good understanding of IT market trends
· Web-services (SOAP, REST) and SaaS APIs hands-on experience
· Data representations knowledge (XML, JSON) and payload analysis
· Min 5+ years of experience in IT (e.g. Consulting, Presales, Development, etc.)
· Previous exposure to / hands-on experience with Cloud Integrations
· Experience on ERPM SaaS/PaaS/IaaS solutions is a must; skills with Oracle Technology - VBCS, Redwood, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA), Oracle Process Cloud, SOA, etc. would be a plus
· Reporting: Business Intelligence Development skills/Transactional Analytics/Advanced Analytics – e.g., OTBI, BI Publisher, OAC
· SQL/Database knowledge · Good understanding of and passion for digital and emerging trends in ERPM / SaaS like Gen AI, Machine learning, Blockchain, Chatbots
· Scripting skills (e.g. Groovy, Python) would be a plus ·
Understanding of Cloud Architecture would be an advantage
· Programming languages hands-on experience would be a plus – Java, C/C++
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Cybernetics, Polytechnics School (e.g. Computer Science) or comparable

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed.
