Your role at Sephora:

As an Engineer, Data Engineering at Sephora, you will be responsible for: Develop and design solutions to assess data from multiple sources.  Develop and maintain ADF pipelines to extract data from SFTP servers. Transform data as per business requirements and ingest them to data bricks. Develop dynamic SQL Views on top of base delta table and build reporting dashboards. Using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks, design and implement robust pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow into MySQL databases. Develop applications that leverage Kafka streams and spark structured streaming to efficiently read and write real-time data. Design and implementation of MySQL data models for personalization. Documentation of comprehensive data processes and pipeline configurations. [Position allows some work-from-home flexibility, with schedule to be approved by manager. Must be able to work on site as required.]

We are excited about you if you have:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• One (1) year of experience as a Data Engineer or related occupation

Experience must include:

• Scala
• Spark
• Cloud technologies including Azure
• SQL
• ETL tools
• Retail and CRM datasets
• UNIX/Linux experience and scripting skills such as Shell, Perl, and Python
• APIs to collect and ingest data
• Data integration tools

Rate of Pay:  $128,400 to $153,250
