Callsign’s Fraud Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in interpreting complex data sets to demonstrate and enhance the value of our solutions to clients. The role will sit in our Customer Success function and have a key impact to our ability to deliver data-driven insights and improvements for our clients.

This position requires you to live in Abu Dhabi on a permanent basis, and we are happy to provide relocation support to help you make this transition

Requirements

Key responsibilities of a Fraud Data Analyst:

  • Expertise in conducting statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large complex data sets.
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable insights and present them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build interactive dashboards and reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Participate in client workshops and meetings, presenting tailored findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Callsign’s Customer Success, Integration, Product, and other internal teams to advocate for client-specific analytics requirements and support the continuous development and scalability of Callsign’s analytics capabilities.
  • Serve as a critical feedback channel to drive the evolution of Callsign’s solutions, ensuring they address emerging trends, client needs, and future market demands.
  • Commitment to integrating best practices in data analysis and statistical modelling to continuously improve processes.
  • Travel to client sites as needed to work directly with their teams to support them with analytics related training, provide actionable insights etc for fraud prevention initiatives.
  • Compliance with data privacy standards in all data handling and analysis activities.

Key Skills Requirements for the Role

  • Ability to efficiently query, normalize, and extract actionable insights from complex data structures, including JSON and nested array formats, using advanced SQL and Python data analysis techniques. 
  • Proficiency in using one or more BI tools, such as AWS QuickSight, Looker, Tableau, Power BI or Superset for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Understanding of various types of fraud, particularly within the digital banking landscape. This includes knowledge of common fraud modus operandi such as social engineering, account takeover, money mule activities etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to participate in client workshops and meetings, presenting tailored findings and recommendations.

Additional Skills for the Role (not mandatory, but nice to have)

  • Financial Services experience within Retail, Private or Commercial banking Experience within Digital Transformation, Fraud or Cyber Security sectors
  • Have an understanding of industry regulations and frameworks such as PSD2 SCA, Open Banking, SAMA CFF
  • Applied machine learning experience
