Our client is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Senior System Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure systems that integrate seamlessly with data analytics, BI tools, and AI solutions. 

Job Description

Position Overview: 

The Senior System Architect will be responsible for architecting end-to-end systems with a focus on data pipelines, storage solutions, and seamless integration with advanced analytics and AI tools. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure Cloud, modern data architectures, and the ability to design systems that prioritize security, auditability, and compliance. 

Key Responsibilities: 

System Design & Architecture: 

• Design large-scale data pipelines and storage solutions on Azure Cloud, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. 
• Develop comprehensive system architectures, including cloud and stack diagrams, for integration with data analytics and BI tools such as Power BI. 
• Create data architectures that support seamless integration with AI solutions, whether cloud-native or custom-deployed on cloud environments. 

Data Management & Security: 

• Ensure data security, separation, auditability, and compliance are integral to system designs. 
• Implement best practices for secure data handling, access control, and encryption in line with industry standards. 

Cloud Integration: 

• Leverage Azure Cloud services to design systems that optimize performance, cost, and operational efficiency. 
• Stay updated on Azure offerings and advise on appropriate technologies for various use cases. 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure systems meet both technical and business needs while adhering to budget and timeline constraints. 

Innovation & Optimization: 

• Identify opportunities to enhance system designs with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies. 
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing architectures to support evolving business requirements. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 
• 5+ years of experience in system architecture, with a strong focus on Azure Cloud. 
• Proven expertise in designing large-scale data pipelines and storage solutions. 
• Hands-on experience with systems integrating data analytics and BI tools like Power BI. 
• Demonstrated ability to design data architectures that support AI solutions, both cloud-native and custom-deployed. 
• In-depth knowledge of ensuring data security, separation, auditability, and compliance through system design. 

Skills & Knowledge: 

• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud services, including storage, compute, and networking solutions. 
• Knowledge of modern data engineering practices, data governance, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). 
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and tools (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, TensorFlow, PyTorch). 
• Proficiency in relevant tools and frameworks for system and data architecture design. 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Certifications in Azure Cloud (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert). 
• Experience with real-time data processing frameworks. 
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for deployment and maintenance of cloud-based architectures.
