What You’ll Be Doing

 

Our Technology Solutions Division is seeking a Python Developer to join our team on an exciting project. This role will have client-facing responsibilities and will be supporting and creating a data platform to service an energy client.   Position can be U.S. Based remote. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with Cadmus’ customers. Focus on delivering results, prioritizing needs while dealing with ambiguity 
  • Partner with developers and data engineering teams to create production training pipelines and inference workflows supporting client who is writing a python library/module for complex pyspark calculations on databricks

Qualifications

 

 

  • 3+ years of deep level of skills with Python / PySpark and SQL
  • Demonstrable experience in developing a framework to include functional testing (e.g., Pytest, Pytest-Cov, PyLint), data validation (e.g. great-expectations), end to end testing (behave) and load testing
  • Experience with CI/CD on Databricks using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Databricks CLI
  • Integrating the end-to-end Databricks pipeline to take data from source to target data catalogs
  • Understanding of Data Management principles (quality, governance, security, privacy, life cycle management, cataloguing)
  • Working within an Agile delivery / DevOps 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Data Management on Databricks
  • Hands on experience developing batch and streaming data pipelines.
  • Experience in distributed system design and development 
  • Strong knowledge of Machine Learning pipelines and MLOps 
  • Cloud computing: Amazon Web Service, Google Cloud, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes 
  • Experience in big data technologies: Kafka/Spark, Apache NIFI, Data Catalog

The minimum starting salary for this position is $125,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
