Is this your next opportunity?  

As a Data Scientist at Telia, you will be responsible for using various statistical techniques and tools to analyze data and identify patterns that can provide insights to drive decision-making. This includes predictive analysis and model building. You will make complex data understandable for stakeholders through visualizations or other means.  

The work duties consist of but are not limited to:  

• Gather and clean data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and websites, ensuring its accuracy and reliability. 

• Use statistical techniques and tools to analyze data and identify patterns that can provide insights to drive decision-making. 

• Develop models and evaluate the accuracy, performance, and robustness of machine learning models, ensuring they are reliable and effective in generating insights and predictions. 

• Work closely with engineers to ensure that machine learning models get into production environments, integrating them into business processes or applications to generate real-time insights and predictions. 

• Handle tools and processes for monitoring model performance and improving them 

• Collaborate within an analytical team that works closely with B2B business stakeholders. 

• Engage in the entire analytical process, from identifying business opportunities to developing and deploying models, and making data-driven decisions 

Is this You? 

We think that you have a passion for data science and a strong background in statistical techniques and machine learning. You thrive in a collaborative environment and have experience working with various stakeholders to drive business decisions. You bring a strong analytical mindset and have previously worked on developing and deploying machine learning models. 

Your experience:  

• Experience in working as Data Scientist or similar analytics role 

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance or equivalent 

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze and put numbers into insights 

• Strong communication skills with ability to customize messages to reach different competences 

• Ability to work with large amounts of complex data from multiple data sources. 

• Skills in SQL and Python are needed, skills in SAS and Qlik and Python is a plus  

• Experience working on cloud-based platforms
