Senior Platform Engineer - AI/ML Platforms Product Line

As Senior Platform Engineer you are expected to drive excellence in continuous delivery, site reliability and cost efficiency of AI/ML platforms hosted on AWS. You will have opportunity to engage & collaborate in ever emerging areas such as security and efficiency of hosting Large Language Models or provisioning infrastructure for agent-based systems. You will be part of high performing platform and data science engineering teams spanning multiple time-zones. Prague-based engineers meet once a week in the office, but you are welcome to enjoy on-site collaboration with our customers and colleagues any time you want. We believe in agile manifesto and utilize just small subset of scrum practices. Platform team delivers in two-week sprints, we gather business requirements every week, help our colleagues to translate business requirements into engineering tasks, assess complexity to plan our delivery capacity and every two weeks you can trigger retrospective by voting. We are kind to each other and after every daily there is option to discuss engineering topics together. We strive to break product silos and develop product agnostic engineering knowledge. 

Key Responsibilities

• Improve compliance, security, reliability, and cost efficiency of AI/ML Product Line.
• Write efficient and easy to maintain continuous delivery pipelines and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Translate business requirements into deliverable tasks.
• Keep up with current industry trends, cloud-native concepts, best practices, and technologies.
• Ensure Design & Configuration Specifications are maintained.
• Work with wider team to design and deliver new capabilities and products.
• Be a good colleague

Requirements

• Proficiency
• Git, Terraform, Docker, Ansible or more modern infrastructure management tooling.
• Shell scripting, Python
• AWS (EKS, EC2, Networking)
• Linux
• Ability to learn and grasp new concepts and master new tools and languages.
• Ability to effectively work in a remote environment with a global team
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
• A proactive, analytical and delivery-oriented mindset
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related experience.
