Responsibilities and Impact:
This position requires a proactive approach to data quality, security, and usability, supporting the organization in leveraging data as a strategic asset. As a Data Governance Analyst, you will ensure the data is accurate, secure, and compliant with regulations. By implementing governance frameworks, you’ll safeguard business data, improve data quality, and mitigate privacy risks. Your work will foster a culture of data accountability, collaborating with teams and leadership to align governance practices with business goals, enabling informed decision-making and supporting compliance.
Implement and Manage Data Governance Frameworks
Lead the development and implementation of data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, privacy, and security across the organization.
Data Quality Assurance
Develop and manage processes to assess and improve data quality, ensuring that all business-critical data is accurate, consistent, and accessible for decision-making.
Resolve Data Issues
Identify, Analyse, and resolve data-related issues, providing solutions for discrepancies and promoting best practices in data handling.
Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams
Work closely with IT, data science, and business teams to drive data governance initiatives and foster a culture of data stewardship and accountability.
Ensure Compliance and Risk Mitigation
Monitor and enforce compliance with regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, mitigating risks related to data privacy and regulatory compliance.
Drive Data Quality Improvement
Develop and manage processes to assess and improve data quality, ensuring that all business-critical data is accurate, consistent, and accessible for decision-making.
Exposure to Senior Leadership and Global Stakeholders Regularly interact with senior decision-makers, policy experts, and market leaders, gaining valuable experience and visibility in a high-stakes, global environment.

What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, data preparation, and data classification.
Proficiency in data management and governance principles and current industry trends.
Strong understanding of data management tools, data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA), databases, and data privacy regulations.
Experience with data quality management, data classification and metadata management.
Proven ability to manage multiple business stakeholders, actively engaging with and aligning enterprise senior leadership to drive data governance initiatives.
Strong collaborative mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving.
Innovative thinker, capable of working effectively across teams and geographies.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of applications such as Salesforce, Marketo, Cvent, commercial platforms and One trust.
Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and visualising tools such as Power BI/ Tableau.
Ability to work in an agile environment with focus on LEAN approach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Certifications: -
Data Governance and Stewardship Professional
Certified Data Governance Practitioner
Salesforce Administrator or associate certification
Gen AI
Shift Timings: 4:30PM IST-1:30 AM IST (Flexibility required)
