The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

We are looking for a motivated and talented AI Automation Intern to join our team and contribute to the development of AI-powered automation solutions. This internship will provide hands-on experience working closely with experienced professionals in developing and deploying automated solutions that to enhance business processes and drive operational efficiency.

What You will do

  • Assist in Developing AI Automation Solutions: Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and deploy AI-driven automation systems that streamline business processes, such as automating data entry, task scheduling, and decision-making.
  • Support Machine Learning Model Development: Assist in the development and training of machine learning models for automation tasks, including classification, regression, and predictive analytics. Testing and Optimization: Assist in the testing, monitoring, and optimization of AI automation solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with software engineers, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and support the implementation of automation solutions across various domains. Documentation & Reporting: Document your work, including code, model configurations, and technical details. Prepare progress reports and presentations on your contributions to automation projects.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field. Please upload a copy of your academic transcripts with your application.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proficiency Automation Framework tool like Ansible, including playbooks, roles, modules, and inventories.
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis, AI/ML and data visualization techniques
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Linux and Windows system administration.
  • Cloud Platforms: Basic understanding of cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.

Location: This position is in Farmington, CT and is a hybrid role. 
Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role: 
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. 

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
