As part of team development, we are currently looking for a Data Scientist for our Data Science team within the Customer Value Management & Data Office. 
From a business perspective, our team is dedicated to managing and enhancing the customer base's value. These business objectives are achieved through the use of advanced analytics techniques, including models, algorithms, and segmentations. On the technical front, we leverage cutting-edge analytics techniques and tools to support various business units, optimizing and refining processes to drive efficiency and innovation. 

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data Scientist responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis, from requirements collection and understanding to design and implementation, to monitoring after deployment. She/he will develop analysis and reporting capabilities and will also monitor performance and quality control to identify improvements:

  • Extracting data from primary and secondary sources using automated tools (data mining)

  • Cleaning and reorganizing data to ensure accuracy and readability (data cleaning)

  • Assessing data quality and interpreting its meaning through thorough analysis (data quality)

  • Developing and maintaining data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and integration (data engineering)

  • Utilizing statistical tools to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets (data analysis)

  • Creating insightful reports that highlight trends, patterns, and predictions for management (data visualization)

  • Implementing machine learning models to enhance predictive analytics capabilities (data science)

  • Conducting A/B testing and other experimental designs to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of changes (data analysis)

  • Collaborating with other data scientists, data engineers, business analysts, and management to identify opportunities for process improvement and system modifications 

  • Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends 

  • Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics and applying them to improve processes and outcomes 

 

Requirements:

  • University Degree in STEM

  • 1-2 years data analysis background experience

  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data 

  • Knowledge of programming languages (Mandatory SQL; highly recommended: Python)

  • Knowledge of data visualization software like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

 

It will be highly valued the familiarity with cloud platforms (such as Microsoft Azure, Databricks) and related solutions (eg Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions) version control systems, such as Git.

The ideal candidate is interested in advanced techniques, spanning from reporting to the application of traditional AI algorithms or Large Language Models (LLMs), and in the new technical solutions available to read, manage and understand data effectively.
