Job Description

Excellent written and verbal communication

        3-5 years experience in designing solutions with Power BI

In-depth knowledge and experience on capacity planning and optimizing Power BI premium workloads

Hands-on with troubleshooting performance issues with Power BI Premium hosted reports

• Responsibilities:
• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• Build and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources for use in Power BI.
• Design and develop data models to support reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
• Perform data validation and ensure the accuracy and integrity of reports and dashboards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues with Power BI reports and data queries.

• • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Power BI and SQL technologies.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

Primary - Power BI & Tableau ( Need PowerBI )
1. Excellent written and verbal communication
2. 3-5 years experience in designing solutions with Power BI
3. In-depth knowledge and experience on capacity planning and optimizing Power BI premium workloads
4. Hands-on with troubleshooting performance issues with Power BI Premium hosted reports
5. Expertise in designing/developing reports with Power BI
1. Designing Reports against cloud and on-prem data sources
2. Good knowledge of working with Enterprise Gateway, data refreshes scheduled through service, or through REST APIs
3. Power BI Dataflows
4. Data Modelling using complex DAX calculation
5. Power BI Paginated reports
6. Experience implementing robust security model in Power BI solutions
7. Experience building reporting solutions using Tableau
8. Any prior experience migrating Tableau to Power BI will be highly valued
