POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Quality and Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and compliance of the organization's core data systems while identifying opportunities to enhance business processes and workflows. This role requires expertise in change control, workflow management, and data governance while leveraging analytical skills to support process improvements and efficiency. The position includes administering FISERV systems, reporting key metrics, and working on cross-functional initiatives to align operations with organizational goals.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:
- Change Monitoring and Quality Assurance:
- Monitor critical and high-risk changes within the organization's systems, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Validate change control processes and data accuracy by reviewing reports from core systems and business analysts.
- Administer workflows and systems to maintain data integrity and compliance metrics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Workflow and System Administration
- Maintain and optimize workflows for high-risk changes using AEM (FISERV Activity Exception Manager).
- Ensure Core and Critical system change reports and workflows are monitored daily maintaining review timelines for critical system changes within AEM, BA Reports, and other identified critical change reports.
- Support and create FISERV BPM reporting to align frontline and back-office workflow needs with operational processes data governance standards.
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to configure products to align with Data Governance standards and change management workflows.
- Build reports using FISERV Business Analytics to align business strategy with reporting needs.
Process Analysis and Improvement
- Assist in conducting comprehensive analyses of business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and risks.
- Help develop and implement process improvement strategies using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Help drive process improvement initiatives, including robotic process automation (e.g., Foxtrot, Nintex).
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support quality and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present comprehensive management reports and dashboards, highlighting KPIs, compliance metrics, and insights.
- Collaborate with leadership to uncover insights that drive business performance improvements.
Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist in leading and managing process improvement projects, including helping to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate solutions.
- Assist in facilitating stakeholder workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and buy-in.
Change Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies to support process improvements.
- Assist in providing data to train employees on new processes to ensure successful adoption and continuous improvement to align with data standards and

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associate degree in Business Administration or 3-5 years of experience in a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3–5 years in data quality, process improvement, or related roles.
- Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
- Proficiency with FISERV Premier Core, FISERV BPM, FISERV AEM, and FISERV Business Analytics.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of change control, data governance, and compliance best practices.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies (preferred).
- Proficiency with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio) and data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL).
- Familiarity with robotic process automation tools (Foxtrot, Nintex).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
COMPLIANCE:
- As generally applicable to F&M Bank and commensurate with these job functions, this job role includes accountabilities for following Bank policies and related procedures, as well as regulatory requirements involving federal and state laws, regulations, and related guidance.
- Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), including accurate completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) when applicable, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and the USA PATRIOT Act. Adhere to Customer Identification, Customer Due Diligence and reporting of suspicious activities to the BSA Department.
