The Americas Division is seeking a Business Intelligence Operations Manager to join the BI team at their headquarters in New Haven, CT.
Role Overview: The incumbent for this dynamic role will oversee Business Intelligence (BI), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). You will lead strategic initiatives to optimize data-driven decision-making, streamline operations, and implement advanced automation solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include managing teams, driving innovation, ensuring the operational success of BI, AI, and RPA projects, and aligning these initiatives with the organization’s business goals.
This position is located full-time in New Haven, CT at the Opening Solutions Americas headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute operational strategies for BI, AI, and RPA programs to meet organizational objectives.
- Align initiatives with business needs and industry trends to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Team and Resource Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, RPA developers, and operations staff.
- Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and mentoring of team members to ensure skill enhancement and performance optimization.
- Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Business Intelligence:
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of BI tools and dashboards.
- Facilitate data analysis and reporting processes to empower stakeholders with actionable insights.
- Ensure data governance and maintain high-quality, secure data management practices.
- Artificial Intelligence:
- Drive AI model development, deployment, and optimization to improve decision-making and operational efficiencies.
- Identify use cases for AI in predictive analytics, natural language processing, and other applications relevant to the business.
- Ensure ethical use of AI technologies and adherence to compliance regulations.
- Robotic Process Automation:
- Lead the design and deployment of RPA solutions to automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity.
- Conduct process assessments to identify automation opportunities and implement workflows.
- Monitor the performance and scalability of RPA bots, ensuring system uptime and functionality.
- Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Identify operational inefficiencies and develop strategies for improvement using BI, AI, and RPA.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team and across the organization.
- Leverage automation and data-driven strategies to optimize cost, time, and resource utilization.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and showcase project outcomes.
- Present insights, forecasts, and performance metrics to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Technology and Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, platforms, and tools relevant to BI, AI, and RPA.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in operations management, BI, AI, or RPA, with leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies. PMP certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analytics, predictive modeling, and workflow automation.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and risk management best practices.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
