Job Summary

Are you our new SME for PTC RV&S (Requirements, Validation, and Source)?

 

Within a subject expert area, the IT Subject Matter Expert follows supplier roadmaps to stay on top of new features and best practices.


The Subject Matter Expert ensures that application design, configuration, and development meet business requirements, follows IT Architecture Principles and Guidelines and are harmonized cross process

The position is permanent, based in Lund.  

What you will do

In a normal work month, you could for example be doing the following tasks:

 

  • Support Enterprise IT Architecture with input to Architecture Guidelines covering the RV&S area.
  • Set standards and guidelines for configuration & development.
  • Lead the analysis of the current solution to identify critical problems and recommend solutions for improvement within subject area. 
  • Approval of system change request within accordance to architecture guidelines.
  • Ensure complete and up-to-date technical documentation of the solutions in own area.
  • Project - participate in the high-level design creation, along with Service Architects & SOA.
  • Project – participate in cost estimates, along with Service Architects.
  • Project - Guide detailed design, development for both projects and service.
  • Project – Approve all technical documentation within the subject area.
  • Project – ensure that solution is implemented in accordance with the directions and decisions defined in Architecture Blueprint or with guidelines from SoA.
  • Service (incl. CI) – lead solution definition and cost estimate for CI, in accordance with Architecture Guidelines.
  • Service (incl. CI) - approval of system change request in accordance with Architecture Guidelines.

We believe you have

Technical skills required

  • Strong knowledge of PTC RV&S
  • Strong understanding of ALM Methodologies, Process and Tools 
  • Understand the business requirement and underlying configuration/technical solution and effectively manage proposed improvements and end-user communication 
  • Good to have knowledge in PTC Modeler 
  • Good to have knowledge in PTC Codebeamer Data Model, Configuration and Customizations 

 

Other skills that we think that you need

  • Strong analytical skills for problem solving (investigating user issues)
  • Self-going and experienced in problem solving and proposal of different solutions 
  • High interest in learning existing/new solutions and configurations 
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) are essential to be able to communicate with a global end user community.

  • Open minded and analytical thinking
  • Service oriented working approach (ITILv3 standard)  

 

Experience

  • 7+ years of overall experience in RV&S 
  • Experience in RV&S Upgrade 
  • Knowledge and expertise in managing end to end solution in PTC RV&S
  • Experience in agile methodology (Kanban in Jira)
