Internship Data Processing Pipeline Development for LLMs

Brief Role Description

Become part of our team at Volkswagen Group Innovation, where we bring state-of-the-art methods to automotive design, plan future technologies and turn them into reality. As part of Volkswagen Group Innovation, we contribute to various mobility innovations through an interdisciplinary working environment. With three innovation centers in Europe, Asia and the US, we use local expertise to find solutions ranging from international to local. In this internship, you will be part of a team that works on various topics in an interdisciplinary manner and you will have the opportunity to improve both your soft skills and your professional skills. Your job is to collect the necessary data for the project that will be assigned to you and take care of all the steps including the data (data collection, annotation, labeling, cleaning, analysis). If the given task is completed earlier, fine-tuning and additional tasks can be given. We are looking for a proactive and committed individual with a strong interest in data management and AI.

Possible Tasks within this Role

• Collect, clean, and analyze unstructured data for LLM model fine-tuning
• Apply coding skills to automate data (pre and post) processing and annotation tasks
• Collaborate with the AI team to utilize AI-based solutions
• Write and present findings in a clear and concise manner

Qualification requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field
• Strong coding skills in Python
• Proficiency in AI concepts and ML algorithms
• Experience with data collection and cleaning (optional)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attentian to detail
• English language level B2
