Designs, develops and implements marketing programs and/or pricing strategies to support the organization's products, services or market sector. Uses specific marketing strategies and/or media (e.g., Internet, press, television, radio) to launch and position products and services in a sector. Identifies and implements marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with sales and technical teams. Responsibilities are within the Marketing Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data across all marketing analytics platforms by monitoring data input and troubleshooting data discrepancies. Implement and maintain data quality checks and balances. 

 

Data Improvement: Continuously assess and develop solutions to improve processes related to Marketing systems such as data collection, analysis, and reporting. 

 

BI Platform Integration and Management: Support the integration of marketing platforms and development of data models to enable comprehensive and actionable marketing analytics  

 

Website Data Layer Management: Collaborate with web development teams to implement and maintain a reliable website data layer for tracking user behavior   

 

Create User Stories: Craft and refine user stories and epics that are central with strategic Marketing objectives 

 

Testing and QA: Develop and run detailed test cases based on requirements and user stories to identify bugs and issues to ensure smooth product feature rollout 

 

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements needed to optimize and improve analytics platforms and translate the requirements into clear actionable user stories across Marketing systems  

 

Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Marketing analytics platforms and processes. Deliver tailored training to ensure that users are proficient in understanding the data and related marketing technology stack and the data that it produces. 

 

Marketing Backlog Prioritization: Manage Marketing backlog, prioritize items based on their business impact, and guide projects through the development cycle. 

 

Performance and Optimization: Identify areas for improvement and optimization for marketing reporting tools, such as custom fields, custom objects, page layouts, and processes. Collaborate with relevant teams to implement enhancements and resolve issues. 

 

Collaboration with Technology Team: Serve as the liaison between the Marketing and CRM teams to ensure that the source systems align with Marketing goals and objectives. 

Required Qualifications: 

 

  • 5 years of experience in marketing data operations or a similar role with a strong background in process improvement, managing technical integrations, and data analysis 

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms 

  • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and managing marketing data pipelines 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of SQL for querying and managing databases 

  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager), and website data layers, Salesforce and Marketo Measure 

  • Strong understanding of marketing performance metrics, attribution models, and data-driven campaign optimization 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail  

  • Ability to communicate technical insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders 

  • Understanding marketing funnel, customer journey mapping, and campaign tracking 

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines
