Data & AI Lead

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Data & AI Leader to spearhead our data, artificial intelligence, and analytics initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping our data strategy, advancing our AI capabilities, and ensuring that our data-driven solutions align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, AI, and analytics, coupled with exceptional leadership skills to drive innovation and growth in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive data and AI strategy that supports the company's vision and objectives.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts.

Data Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the organization. Implement best practices for data management and compliance.

AI Innovation: Drive the development and deployment of AI models and algorithms to enhance our product offerings and improve customer experiences.

Advanced Analytics: Oversee the design and implementation of advanced analytics solutions, including predictive modelling, distributed/federated data processing, and real-time analytics.

Data Products: Lead the development of innovative data products and solutions, leveraging AI to replace and enhance existing systems and processes.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to integrate data and AI solutions into our products and services.

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data and AI initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate data and AI strategies and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders. Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications:

Experience: 10+ years of experience in data science, AI, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Skills: Strong expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

Leadership: Proven track record of leading and scaling data and AI teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Industry Knowledge: Experience in the fintech industry is highly desirable. Understanding of financial regulations and compliance is a plus.
