Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Engineer with a strong background in AI and Data to work at the intersection of technology and customer engagement. This role involves enabling adoption of both cloud and on-premises solutions, supporting strategic customers, and delivering innovative architectures tailored to solve business challenges.

As a Sales Engineer, you will:

• Design and deliver technical demos and presentations for customers.

• Collaborate with Sales teams to identify customer needs and propose solutions.

• Act as a technical advisor on-site for strategic customers, ensuring seamless engagement.

• Conduct workshops to showcase the value of modern AI and Data solutions.

• Design architectures that leverage cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) or hybrid (on-premises and cloud technologies)

• Bridge communication between Sales and Delivery teams to align technical and business goals.

• Contribute to or oversee proof-of-concept (PoC) executions, contributing hands-on to demonstrate feasibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or related fields.

• Proficiency with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure, as well as on-premises data/AI solutions.

• Expertise in Python and/or SQL for data modeling, analysis, and implementation.

• Academic or professional experience with at least 2 of the following fields in AI:

  • Machine Learning (ML)

    • Supervised, Unsupervised, and Reinforcement Learning

    • Deep Learning (neural networks)

  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)

    • Sentiment analysis, machine translation, text generation

    • Chatbots and speech-to-text systems

  • Computer Vision (CV)

    • Image recognition, object detection, facial recognition

  • Generative AI

    • GANs, VAEs, and Transformer models

    • Hybrid Vector Search

    • Multi-Agents architectures

  • Recommender Systems

    • Personalized recommendations (e-commerce, streaming platforms)

  • Speech Recognition and Synthesis

    • Virtual assistants, voice commands, real-time translation

  • Expert Systems

    • Rule-based reasoning, diagnostics, and decision support

• Academic or professional experience with at least 2 of the following fields in Data:

  • Data Modelling

    • Knowledge of main modelling techniques, like Kimball, Data Vault, One Big Table, etc.

  • ETL

    • Data Pipelines creation in a Dataframe-first paradigm and/or using SQL

    • Pipeline Orchestration using batch orchestrators

  • Data Streaming

    • Knowledge of message brokers producer and consumer patterns

    • Event-based processing paradigms

  • Data Governance

    • KPIs Glossaries, Data Lineage, Data Quality and others

• Strong knowledge of Data and AI solutions, whether cloud-based or on-premises.

• Experience in database systems, like Oracle, SQL Server or other analytical or transactional databases.

• Familiarity with cloud adoption dynamics and customer buying behavior.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related fields.

• 6+ years of experience delivering AI or data projects, with strong architecture design capabilities.

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) and cloud governance models (e.g., FinOps, IAM).

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
