The KONE Supply Chain function is responsible for a resilient, industry-leading supply chain network, which helps us meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. We are working towards a locally accountable, globally harmonized operating model for our supply chain operations. We work in an agile manner, navigating constantly changing market needs together with our customers and partners. KONE Supply Chain also drives the Safety, Quality, Environment and Sustainability work across KONE.
We are looking for three (3) Summer Trainees, Data Analytics Development to join our dynamic Global Safety & Quality teams.
Three teams within KONE`s Global Safety & Quality organization are looking for trainees to help enhance and develop our data analysis capabilities by utilizing Microsoft Power Platform tools like Power BI, Power Apps and Copilot.
Each trainee will be placed in one of the teams; Global Safety Development team is responsible for KONE wide safety development, data and related tools. Global Management System Team is responsible for our KONE Integrated Management system, data and related tools. Full Chain Quality Team is responsible for the End-to-end Product Quality.
Trainees will be working in a truly global environment creating value to our Safety & Quality development activities.
Responsibilities and Key Activities:
- Creating data flow from our core systems to Power BI together with our internal stakeholders.
- Developing Power BI dashboards to add value and to enable better decision making based on data.
- Further developing our data gathering processes and end-to-end data flow using Power Automate and Apps.
- Integrating GenAI capabilities into our data analytics to create insights beyond the numbers.
Requirements for the role:
- Fully fluent in English
- 3+ completed years in your Master’s or Bachelor’s studies. Your field can be e.g. Computer Science, Engineering or Economics – as long as you “tick the box” in the other categories.
- Hands on experience and knowledge with Microsoft Power Platform Tools.
- (Some) Knowledge of AI technologies and data analytics.
- Proactive way of working and self-reliance in interacting with stakeholders.
- Can do attitude and problem-solving skills.
The positions are located in Espoo, Finland. The preferred start would be in April/May 2025. Applicants must have relevant permit to work in Finland
