The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Job Responsibilities:

  • ​Provide analytical expertise (including data mining and machine learning techniques, statistical and exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling) in service to internal customers.
  • Develop and support interactive, UI-focused business intelligence (BI) and analytics products for both internal customers, utilizing various BI and analytics tools.
  • Assist in the use of state-of-the-art analytical techniques to solve fleet management problems, bringing the understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts.
  • Quantify and analyze business operations through development of KPIs and metrics.
  • Develop some understand of the business and a relationship with business users.
  • Provide QA testing and validation of managed content during data warehouse upgrades, changes, etc.
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.

Education and/or Training:

  • 1+ years’ experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, and data visualizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or an equivalent analytical field required.
  • Certification(s) in an analytical field preferred.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in building and executing analytical and statistical projects and analyses using statistical modeling techniques.
  • Comfortable manipulating and analyzing sophisticated, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources, including both structured and unstructured data.
  • Proficiency with Python or R and SQL
  • Experience working with large data sets, experience working with distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.) and Machine Learning pipelines (Spark, ML Flow, Databricks etc.)
  • Understanding of cloud services like AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $67,670.00 - $98,125.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
