Role Title : AVP, Analytics – B2B Marketing Measurement and Insights

Role Summary/Purpose:

AVP, Analytics – B2B Marketing Measurement and Insight (individual contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH) and reports to B2B-Promo-Project Knight leader in IAH, closely partnering with B2B Analytics leader in US. The desired employee is expected to co-design, build, own and enhance a cross-platform multi-channel campaign reporting tool to measure SYF B2B Marketing programs and performance. This role will be pivotal in ensuring our B2B marketing campaigns are data-driven, highly effective, and continuously optimized to achieve the best results.

The position is remote, where you have the option to work from home.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a time-bound, tangible and actionable analytics roadmap & vision for the B2B Campaign measurement tool, outlining key milestones, and timelines for achieving long-term goals.

  • Partner with B2B Analytics colleagues and platform stakeholders to co-develop, design, execute and pilot launch a B2B campaign measurement tool to measure SYF B2B Marketing programs and performance. This includes but not limited to designing new KPIs, creating and upgrading measurements and contents to upscale the Tableau tool, working with cross-functional team to change/update the backend data ingestion and processes, etc.

  • Serve as the day-to-day B2B Marketing campaign measurement tool owner and business process owner, overseeing the daily data ingestion processes, partnering with cross-functional teams to trouble shoot issues when they occur, ensuring the smooth operation of the new B2B Marketing campaign measurement and reporting tool.

  • Drive adoption across business & analytics users by working closely with them to understand feedback and working on tool enhancements.

  • Collaborate with other centralized/platform campaign measurement teams to align and build a comprehensive insights around campaign effectiveness at Platform and Enterprise level.

  • Support other ad-hoc B2B Marketing Analytics projects and analytics operations, as needed.

  • Be fully hands-on and be able to roll-up sleeves to lead projects, perform data analysis

  • Foster a culture of innovation & learning within people with high emphasis on sustainable & scalable practices. Acquire proficiency with different data tools and software to improve current capabilities and create new products and solutions

  • Maintain documentation of all tools and solutions to drive clarity on processes/definitions as well as knowledge retention

  • Deliver projects, adhering to expected timelines, accuracy & compliance with meticulous project management and mentor team members on analytical, technical and functional subject matters

Eligibility Criteria:

Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 6+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Experience in SQL /SAS with proven ability to leverage advanced algorithms and be efficient in handling complex/large data

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with data visualization tools esp. Tableau

  • 3+ years of experience in project management with ability to define & refine best-in-class delivery model for teams, devise alternative approaches in an agile manner

  • Ability to solve complex technical and people-oriented problems with minimal supervision

  • Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint with superior data analyses and story boarding skills

  • Strong written/oral communication & stakeholder management skills

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

  • Superior thought leadership and framework based solutioning abilities

  • Experience in storytelling, presenting to senior leaders with strong communication skills

  • Innovative mindset that looks to improve current capabilities and discover new ones

  • Experience working with Python and R, preferably in a Linux-based cloud environment such as AWS

Work Timings:

This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
