The Global Commercial Business Intelligence (BI) Manager in Puig B&F will play a key role in the BI team to transform global retailer sell-out and commercial data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role involves building the fundamentals regarding data we can get from our retailers: sell-out, doors inventory and classification, commercial activations calendar and results, cross brands and categories in all the markets. The BI Manager collaborates with other global data departments, in IT or Strategy, to identify data the company needs and deliver insights and tools that enhance business performance and maintain the brand’s competitive edge in all the markets.
What you'll get to do
• Develop, Implement and Maintain the Global Retailer Sell-out Database: Create and manage a global process to ensure an updated and accurate retailer sell-out database to support data-driven commercial decision-making across brands and markets, managing all Puig B&F complexity: affiliate versus distributors, wholesale versus DTC, online versus offline, beauty versus fashion, integration of Byredo and BDS.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze commercial data from fashion, fragrance, skincare, and makeup divisions to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• BI Tools Coordination with IT: Design, configure, and maintain BI tools that help brands and markets to extract actionable insights through powerful visualization tools. Manage the relationships with IT to ensure that the infrastructure is answering brands and market needs.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of data analysts, across brands and markets, providing training and support.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration within HQ: Work with various global departments, including Revenue Growth Management, Market Intelligence, Analytics, Global Retail, Finance, Regions, etc., to gather and interpret business requirements.
• Reporting and Dashboards: Create and present reports, dashboards, and other BI metrics to stakeholders.
• Data Integrity and Security: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of company data.
• Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in BI technology, especially related to AI, and the luxury fashion and beauty industry.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.

• Data Integration: The BI Manager ensures that data from marketing and sales systems is integrated and accessible, providing a holistic view of business performance.
• Sell-out Reporting: The BI Manager creates detailed sales reports and dashboards that provide real-time insights to sales teams.
• Sell-out Forecasting: They provide regions and markets forecasts based on historical data and market conditions, aiding in strategic planning.
• Door Productivity / Sales Performance: The BI Manager analyzes sales data to cluster doors, identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Customer Segmentation: Help markets to segment their customers, identifying potential pools of growth for sell-out.
• Retailer Activation Campaign Analysis: The BI Manager provides insights on the performance of retailer activation campaigns, helping to identify which strategies are most effective.
• Strategy Meetings: They participate in regular strategy meetings with marketing and sales leaders to align BI initiatives with business goals.
• Training and Support: The BI Manager provides training and support to brands and market teams on how to use BI tools and interpret data insights effectively.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Data Science or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in the luxury fashion and beauty industry is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and data warehousing concepts. Knowledge of programming languages like Python is beneficial. Successful use cases of AI implementation.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to present data insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business strategies and how data can support strategic decisions.
Preferred Skills:
• Luxury Industry Experience: Experience in the luxury industry, particularly in fragrance, skincare, and makeup. Fashion experience is a plus.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) or Tableau Desktop Certified Professional.
• This role is crucial for leveraging data to sustain Puig B&F brands and markets position and drive growth across all fashion and beauty divisions.
