The role of Manager, AML/ATF Models and Analytics is responsible for applying sophisticated predictive/analytical modeling techniques and the latest AML/ATF rules and scenarios to new models, as well as enhancing the performance of existing Client and Payment Screening models. This role contributes to the overall success of the Global Compliance and AML team by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Additionally, it ensures that all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations and internal policies and procedures.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Conduct testing, tuning, development, and implementation of AML/ATF client/payment screening rules and models.

  • Vet the effectiveness of screening systems and provide recommendations for improvement based on identified risks/gaps.

  • Identify and demonstrate value in opportunities to improve the efficiency of the models.

  • Prepare model documentation to support the model development and validation process.

  • Properly identify, report, and escalate issues that may impact the AML/ATF program resulting from performance, functionality, or changes within client/payment screening applications.

  • Deep dive into client/payments source data, perform data profiling and analysis to determine data opportunities for AML/ATF model and predictive data analysis.

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another quantitative field (preferred).

  • Working experience in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting, with advanced Python and SQL programming skills.

  • Creativity, with the ability to see the big picture and draw recommendations based on detailed knowledge of the systems/data.

  • Knowledge of AML/ATF sanctions’ screening solutions (FircoSoft, HotScan, and Bridger) is nice to have.

  • Tech-savviness with knowledge of systems architecture and interaction of multiple server environments.

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

  • Sound knowledge of banking and payment operations.

  • Expertise in modeling methods and statistical analysis would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as PowerBI would be an advantage.
