Position Summary:

In this role, you will support data-driven decision-making through analytics and data insights for sales planning and sales performance and effectiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify the right analytics problems, partner on market and regional challenges, define appropriate metrics, and make in-depth search to provide insights, and build scalable data solutions.

 

Major Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own the process of gathering, extracting, and compiling data across sources via relevant tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce, BI Portal, production tools). Format, re-structure, and validate data to ensure quality.
  • Report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business reviews with cross-functional/organizational leadership team. Translate analysis results to business insights or opportunities to improve.
  • Define, own and refine rolling forecast process and framework for key clients. Work with key account managers, local sales and regional leaders to develop and maintain a comprehensive metric framework that ties to business priorities and contributes to annual and quarterly Objectives and Key Results setting.
  • Provide investigative insights and recommendations to influence sales strategy development decisions, with guidance. Deliver presentations of data-driven insights and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders up to executive leadership.
  • Build and prototype analysis and business cases to provide insights at scale. Develop comprehensive knowledge of sales management dashboard structures and metrics.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • 5+ years of work experience in processing and analyzing large data sets, designing and developing key metrics and executive dashboards, regular forecasting and planning for a large and complex organization
  • 5+ years of experience in scripting, statistical analysis (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS, SAS), developing and managing metrics, and evaluating programs/products.
  • Have a strong command of the English language, both verbal and written; additional foreign language skill is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge in BI tools, machine learning, database management and data visualization
  • 5+ year of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to work in a team environment for large tasks and have self-motivation to build things from scratch
  • Capacity to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.

 

Educational Background Required for the Job

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

 

Compensation Range:  $108,000 – 127,000 annually plus bonus (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).
