Job Description
We are currently seeking a Data and Business Information Architect to join our IT team at our Rugby site
The role of Integration Architect at Culina Group entails providing strategic leadership and driving the design, development, and implementation of middleware and integration architecture across the organization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the technical alignment and advancement of Culina Group’s integration capabilities, driving efficiency, and supporting the group’s overarching goals.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm offering a competitive salary and package with the opportunity to work for a forward thinking market leader.
Job responsibilities of a Data and Business Information Architect include:
- Develops Integration architecture and associated roadmaps and aligns with enterprise architecture governance frameworks
- Stakeholder management
- Evaluates, designs and delivers Integration solutions centred on strategic reuse of building blocks, new technologies and reference architectures
- Validates Integration architecture: new/changed capabilities
- Supports delivery of solutions (that are incorporated into a prioritised/integrated roadmap) and ensures a coherent and effective target architecture
- Develops integrated roadmap(s) of change initiatives reflecting both business demands and priorities (in partnership with business units
- Participate in development/maintenance of a comprehensive enterprise architecture, representative of current, transitional and target states
- Identifies/evaluates feasibility of new Integration technologies that could be strategically important
- Develops knowledge base of current operational Integration technology assets
- Develops/owns roadmap(s) outlining how existing Integration technologies will be maintained, evolved and decommissioned and new technology introduced
- Support current supplier relationships; builds new relationships with potential providers of technology solutions, services and products
- Proactively reviews current portfolio of Integration technologies; identifies opportunities to exploit available innovations
Qualifications
To apply for the role of Data and Business Information Architect you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
- Two-three years’ experience as an Architect with exposure to strategy definition and experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
- Experience of stakeholder management and delivering presentations to both senior-level executives and technical audiences
- Minimum of five years of design and implementation experience in IT, with a deep knowledge in a minimum of two of the following technical disciplines: middleware and integration platforms and services, cloud technologies and ML/AI
- Good experience of IT Architecture (and underlying frameworks such as TOGAF) including the development (and ensuring adherence to) architecture principles and standards
- Solid understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
- Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
- Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required.
