About the role:

Winona is looking to hire a full-time remote Marketing Data Strategist. The Marketing Data Strategist specializes in analyzing digital advertising and web performance data to optimize marketing efforts and maximize ROI. This role requires deep expertise in Facebook Ads, other digital ad platforms, and web analytics tools like Mixpanel, GA4, and attribution software. The ideal candidate will translate complex data into actionable insights, design strategies to improve campaign performance, and enhance marketing attribution models to better understand the customer journey.

Responsibilities:

Digital Ads Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Analyze performance data from Facebook Ads Manager and other digital ad platforms to identify optimization opportunities and recommend actionable improvements.

  • Monitor and report on key advertising KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rates.

  • Develop detailed attribution insights across ad platforms and their role in the customer acquisition journey.

Web Analytics and Attribution:

  • Utilize tools like Mixpanel, GA4, and attribution software to analyze customer behavior, identify conversion bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for funnel optimization.

  • Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards to track user behavior, campaign performance, and overall marketing impact.

  • Implement and refine multi-touch attribution models to better understand channel contributions to revenue and customer growth.

Strategic Planning and Optimization:

  • Collaborate with media buyers and performance marketers to design data-driven strategies for audience targeting, budget allocation, and ad creative.

  • Conduct A/B testing on campaigns and landing pages to optimize performance and improve conversion rates.

  • Leverage insights from ads and web data to inform broader marketing strategies, including customer segmentation and LTV-focused campaigns.

Forecasting and Predictive Analytics:

  • Build predictive models to project campaign performance and outcomes, guiding resource allocation and strategic decision-making.

  • Develop performance benchmarks and continuously evaluate campaign success against these standards.

Collaboration and Data Infrastructure:

  • Partner with engineering and Martech teams to ensure accurate tracking and integration of data across ad platforms, web analytics, and attribution tools.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to define data requirements for campaigns, ensuring proper tagging and tracking implementation.

  • Stay updated on advancements in analytics tools, advertising platforms, and attribution methodologies to continuously improve marketing insights.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics with a focus on digital advertising and web data.

  • Expertise in Facebook Ads Manager and other digital ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, TikTok Ads).

  • Proficiency with Mixpanel, GA4, and attribution software (e.g., Triple Whale, Rockerbox).

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and effectively.
