Please select your region and language to find products and solutions that are available in your...As a Business Analytics Analyst, you will have the opportunity to experience a breadth of assignments as well as the opportunity to work with various functional area teams (Supply Chain / Procurement / Customer Operations / IT) across Europe, Southeast Asia, North America and Latin America.
In this position, you can make an impact on the business as well as continue to build your analytical and technical skills. You will be a contributing member of the team and gain hands-on experience with pioneering technology. Additionally, you will work on the development of reporting tools and process improvements.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Partner with other teams to outline business needs into data requirements.
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into measurable insights with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Work alongside our business teams to recommend changes related to data setup and maintenance to improve process efficiencies.
- Help solve strategic challenges facing Emerson through data using various technologies, languages, and analytical methods to deliver actionable insights that support business decisions.
- Design, develop and implement custom solutions for the automation of existing or new processes or reports
- Leverage Intelligent Automation tools, including but not limited to: Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents
- Work with process owners to understand and map out their processes
- Validations with process owners, and an end-to-end business validation upon completion of development effort
- Combine information with standards of design & performance to drive dashboard usability.
- Provide domain expertise to determine appropriate data values when conflicts arise.
- Integrate data from different sources to produce requested or required data elements.
- Develop standard procedures, user guides, and other training and job aid materials.
- Lead and work on regional and global projects.

For this Role, You will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in business, economics, math, engineering or analytics (or relevant work experience). Advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of advanced reporting, and/ or programming experience in SQL
- Minimum of 1 year of Tableau and/or PowerBI development experience. Experienced in Tableau/PowerBI features, Data Optimization, and a keep eye for design.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word.
- Technical attitude to understand system issues, data, and touchpoints
- Solution driven with strong fix and problem-solving skills
- Capability to communicate clearly and with various types of audiences (team members, management, and senior leadership)
- Needs to be comfortable piloting new technologies and determining if they would have a place within the larger team's tech stack.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Knowledge of Supply Chain, Procurement or Customer Operations business environment preferred.
- Completed at least 1 large scale project
- Ability to implement the full life cycle of an automation solution: identify automation opportunities, gather requirements and develop, test and deploy automation solutions using Intelligent Automation tools
- Completed at least 1 project using Advanced Intelligent Automation tools (Robocorp RPA, OCR, AI, ML, API, SQL, Python, etc.)
