Description
The goal of the Siri Natural Language team is to take Siri to the next level of intelligence and accuracy in natural language understanding. You will design and implement low latency Siri experience on-device. You should be passionate about taking machine learning model inference algorithms into production. Excellent communication skills will be required to coordinate work across multiple teams to resolve issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with on-device development in Swift/Objective-C/C++
- Experience developing tools in Python
- Strong communication skills to work well with cross-functional engineering teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Proven ability to quickly learn and modify large, existing code base
- Strong understanding of algorithms and software design
- Experience with LLM, NLP or search engine is a plus
- Experience with runtime performance optimizations and memory management is a plus
- Experience building model release or validation pipelines and tooling is a plus
- Experience working on CI/CD pipelines using job scheduling tools such as TeamCity or Jenkins
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
