Task Description

• Development and implementation of mathematical models and algorithms for the analysis of industrial data.
• Solving complex industrial process problems using algorithms and techniques related to data analysis, optimization, and statistics.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement solutions for real-world problems.
• Creation and analysis of computational models, error estimation, and validation of results.
• Consulting on mathematical methods and techniques, providing technical guidance and support to clients.

Basic Qualifications

• Postdoc, PhD graduate or PhD candidate in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics.
• Ability to apply advanced mathematical and computational techniques to industrial projects.
• Experience with data analysis and programming languages, such as C++, Python or MATLAB.
• Excellent command of English and technical terminology.
• Creativity and initiative in developing new approaches and solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or big data analysis.
• Experience with data modeling and analysis, optimization, and statistics.
• Experience with modern machine learning and artificial intelligence tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience in data management and analysis in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with tools for parallel computing and performance optimization (e.g., MPI, CUDA).
• Good knowledge of German.
