In our department of Innovations our multicultural cross-disciplinary team is searching for new exciting identity solutions and business ideas, validating them with market research, building and testing prototypes, and helping create  first minimal viable products for a customer. The team is concentrating on technologies like, artificial intelligence, application of biometrics, future of identities and border control.

Having a rich backlog of interesting ideas, the innovations team is looking for a:

Product Manager AI - Innovation (m/f/d)

in fulltime at our location in Munich or Berlin.

Your responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for idea conceptualization and validation including market research, business model and business case design, as well as, internal steering of different artificial intelligence projects
• You will be responsible for coordinating the development of Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), Minimal Viable Products (MVPs), working on a different range of technologies, from Computer Vision to GenAI & LLMs
• You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with our ML engineers and Data Scientists as well as business stakeholders to create innovative AI solutions
• You will support the artificial intelligence strategy roadmap implementation by leading different topics that are relevant to expand the Veridos AI skillset and portfolio
• You will be responsible to define and implement AI enabling factors, in particular ensuring the compliance to AI regulations. risk management of AI products and
• As a member of the Innovations department, you will report and prepare content for our innovations board, support in ideation processes, facilitate knowledge sharing and foster an innovation-driven culture at Veridos

Your profile:

• You have a university degree in Technology and Business management, Artificial Intelligence, or similar or equivalent experience in the technology industry
• Proven years of experience working as a project manager/product manager/digital transformation manager in projects that involve Artificial Intelligence
• Strong understanding of AI, machine learning and deep learning technologies
• You have a business understanding of artificial intelligence, software development and IT tools
• Experience defining the scope of Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs) and Minimal Viable Products (MVPs) and delivering them  
• Experience steering development teams
• You are a person that enjoys learning new things, that can plan and structure projects but still keeps things flexible, and that values the benefits of working as a team
• You are good at communicating complex technology ideas also to non-technical people and senior management
• You are a motivated person that loves working independently as part of a multi-cultural and cross-disciplinary team
• You are available for international traveling (less than 25%)
• Your English (written and spoken) is very good
