This remote position will be based out of the employee’s home located in the state of Oregon or accepted radius.
The Analytics Manager is a key position responsible for managing the Analytics team and supporting organization systems improvements by providing highly credible data analytics and evaluative reports in coordination with the CEO and CFO. Manages advanced data analytics, ensuring the delivery of high-quality evaluative reports and supporting strategic initiatives in alignment with GOBHI’s mission and goals. The Analytics Manager collaborates with internal teams, delegated providers, and external stakeholders to guide the development and implementation of data-driven solutions that enhance program performance and organizational effectiveness.
Essential duties include:
- Provides strategic leadership and management to the Analytics team, fostering professional growth and promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Assesses and prioritizes GOBHI’s data needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and oversee the implementation of data strategies and initiatives.
- Supports EOCCO deliverables/reports through highly credible data and evaluative studies.
- Leads the development of regular, annual, and ad-hoc reports that provide insights into organizational performance, clinical outcomes, and program effectiveness.
- Serves on relevant EOCCO workgroups.
- Coordinates with IS to ensure the best platforms for data analysis.
- Leads analytics aspects of organizational initiatives as directed by GOBHI’s Executive Leadership Team.
- Supports GOBHI teams with data needs including prioritizing those needs within the organization’s overall data needs.
- Mentors the Analytics team members, enhancing their technical skills, analytical expertise, and professional development.
- Evaluates all data collection requests for appropriateness in relationship to contracted performance requirements, only advocating for those that are required to meet GOBHI performance standards.
- Responsible for preparing/presenting annual and quarterly reports highlighting GOBHI-wide performance indicators that drive system improvement.
- Assigns and monitor the activities related to claims/encounter data submission and performance; including timeliness of data submission, cleanliness of claims/encounters, performance of TPA’s; and delegates performance.
- Maintains assigned policies.
- Drives to meetings or other GOBHI locations as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
What is needed to succeed in this role:
- Five years experience working in the areas of data analytics, project management, and healthcare.
- Three years of experience as a supervisor.
- Experience working with electronic medical records, claims processing, and business intelligence systems preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication abilities, including public speaking and facilitation of complex discussions.
- Knowledge of data programming languages (e.g., SQL, SAS, R, Python) and business intelligence tools.
- Proficiency in data warehousing systems (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud SQL) and reporting platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data.
- Experience with data visualization tools and methods to create user-friendly dashboards and reports.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Highly resourceful, with strong networking and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Resilient and solution-oriented, with the ability to navigate complex challenges.
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Science with an emphasis in public health, mathematics, computer science, information management or statistics or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
