Risk Manager

• We are seeking for a Risk Manager to join Group Risk Management, as member of the Data Validation team. 

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the planning, execution and successful completion of the Annual Control Plan.
• Assesses the risks associated with the Data Governance Framework and its implementation at Piraeus Group.
• Assesses risks in projects related to processes, systems, products and operations, which affect the Group's data.
• Quantifies the risks based on the methodology followed.
• Prepares and presents reports, both periodically and ad-hoc to inform on the progress of controls and the status of assessed risks.
• Participates in unit projects, in the interaction and communication with all the involved units of the Bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics / Statistics, Business Administration or related field
• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics / Statistics, Business Administration or related field will be considered an asset
• At least 2 years of working experience in data analysis, quality controls, auditing, inspections
• Experience in data management (analysis, design, data controls and data validation) will be considered an asset
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Visual Basic, PowerPoint, Word), SQL
• Knowledge/exposure to the regulatory framework regarding data management (BCBS239, ECB guide on RDARR, ICT/information security frameworks, DAMA framework) will be considered an asset.
• Python, R, SAS, Power BI knowledge will be considered an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English
• High attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on attitude
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Positive, committed and engaged attitude while demonstrating a team spirit and partnership
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities and meeting deadlines
