We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Data Quality Manager to lead and manage the data quality initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across various systems and platforms. The Data Quality Manager will play a critical role in maintaining high data standards, implementing effective data governance practices, and driving continuous improvement in data management processes. This position requires a strong understanding of data management, analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders to enforce data quality policies and standards.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of data quality frameworks and processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness across all systems.
• Implement and maintain data governance policies, ensuring adherence to standards and regulatory requirements related to data quality and security
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to identify data quality issues and provide solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis for data quality problems, providing corrective and preventive actions to ensure sustained improvements.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on data quality metrics, trends, and improvement efforts to senior leadership.
• Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of data quality tools, ensuring effective use across data pipelines and analytics platforms
• Educate teams and stakeholders on best practices for maintaining high-quality data and provide training on data quality processes and tools
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data quality management or data governance roles, preferably in large organizations.
• Strong knowledge of data management, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Proficiency in data management tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data quality concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a manufacturing & engineering industry
• Knowledge transactional/management systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
• Certification in data management or related fields.
