The salary range for this role, based in New York is $132,320.00 to $165,400.00. The range will vary if outside of this location.  Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position. 

Position Summary

Manage the development and implementation of master data management strategies to ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across the organization.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and best practices to define data governance policies and procedures.  Working with Global Data Governance team to maintain data governance frameworks, standards and best practices in support of ongoing data management activities.

Key Responsibilities and Impacts

- Serve as the PRUSA Subject Matter Expert on Master Data Management

  • Works with: Technical Solutions team leadership from PRUSA, third party data vendors, internal departmental key stakeholders, and data governance council
  • Impact: Internal expert, consultative partner, and key institutional knowledge expert on master data management that requires both depth and breadth of knowledge of both legacy and new data sets and systems

- Lead MDM Data Modeling - Strategy, Road Map, and Delivery

  • Works with: Tech Development team, Tech Business Relationship Managers, and key analytical stakeholders from PRUSA departments to leverage existing and potential new technology solutions and tools for effective data management
  • Impact: Confer with project teams to provide recommendations to improve processes across many domains; product, customer, account

- Lead Management of existing MDM Solutions

  • Works with: Existing tools to build new and manage existing models, entities, attributes, data quality rules in support of hierarchy and data quality management across all applications
  • Impact: Ensure the smooth flow of data from ERP to MDM Solution to downstream systems across the landscape

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient in Master Data Management tools such as Profisee and Knowledge Graph Technology
  • Experience working with IT / Tech departments on project requiring master data management
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong knowledge of industry data sets (Nielsen / NABCA / DISCUS)
  • Knowledge of operational and financial complexities of the 3-tier system & data implications on performance management
  • Very strong project management skills – track record of driving strategic initiatives to completion
  • Strong communication, organization skills and experience working in a matrix organization structure
  • At least 5-10 years’ experience in commercial, operations, or financial teams including working regularly with Executive level colleagues on business performance topics
  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization

Education

- Required:

  • University degree level                                                            

- Preferred:

  • MBA Finance / Business
