Test Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze a suite of automated functional and integration tests to increase software quality. Leverage a combination of automation tools to develop regression tests on an incremental basis and operate in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Employ automation techniques, including screen recording, data-driven, and object-based scripting to expand automation capabilities on large scale modernization initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience writing test plans, test cases, and executing automated test scripts

• Experience developing and configuring automated test scripts and maintaining automated tests and test environments

• Experience with backend testing and test management tools, including Jira

• Experience configuring test scripts to support cross-browser testing

• Experience with data analytics tools, including Splunk, ElasticSearch, or Logstash

• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle and implementing incremental automation test scripts in an Agile team cadence

• Experience with different types of testing, including Smoke testing, Functional testing, System Integration testing, End-to-End testing, Regression testing, and Load or Performance testing with Jmeter or LoadRunner 

• Knowledge of automation tools, including Selenium or UFT, and industry best practices to successfully integrate in a client development environment

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps concepts and integrating regression tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline and build process

• Experience implementing a test automation suite to validate COTS and third party products

• Experience working with enterprise cyber defense tools, including WorkspaceOne, IBM MaaS360, Microsoft Intune, ForeScout, BigFix, or Tenable Security Center

• Experience with testing frameworks such as RestAssured and

• Experience creating automated test scripts with Python, PyTest, or JavaScript  

• Experience in Big Data Testing, Python or PySpark scripting, or ETL Data Pipeline Testing using Spark or PySpark and Data Bricks

• Experience with AWS Databases such as RDS PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift, MS SQL Server, or Mongo DB Database,

• Experience with AWS Services such as Glue or EMR 

• Agile or SAFe Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
