About the RoleWe are seeking aData Scientist to join our growing data science team as a part of the fast-paced Product division at Healthcare.com. This role combines data science, analysis, and engineering to deploy and optimize machine learning models that directly impact business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct SQL-based analysis using Snowflake to derive actionable insights and support decision-making.- Maintain and optimize machine learning models, APIs, and decision-tree-based algorithms in production.- Analyze unstructured logs generated by data science models and provide meaningful summaries.- Develop and automate ETL pipelines in Airflow running on Kubernetes for data ingestion and transformation.- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize infrastructure and minimize model response times.- Create clear visualizations, reports, or presentations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Stay current with data science trends and apply best practices to improve model performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
Required:• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python (data science and engineering libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, flask).• Strong SQL skills with a proven ability to write complex queries (experience with Snowflake is a plus).• Understanding of decision tree models (XGBoost, LightGBM, etc.) and experience in applied machine learning.• Experience maintaining ML models in production and optimizing APIs.• Solid understanding of software engineering principles (code optimization, version control, CI/CD).
Preferred:• Familiarity with Airflow and Kubernetes for pipeline automation.• Domain knowledge in health insurance, lead scoring, or online lead funnels.• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
