The People Also Ask team is hiring Applied Scientists who can help build next generation Suggestions experience that would delight Search Users. People Also Ask is a prominent Answer in Bing. It is highly competitive to a similar answer in Competing Search Engines. The Answer surfaces the Questions and Short Answers that users might have in mind related to the given Query.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an Applied Scientist II who will be a key part of the team that works on Question/Answer Generation and Selection of Relevant Questions given a Query. In Addition, the candidate will work on the Data pipeline infrastructure which orchestrates these models. The Candidate will get an opportunity to work on the latest LLMs/SLM and also help define the future of Suggestions, in the emerging landscape of Generative Search experiences. You will be working in a collaborative and fun environment with peers across disciplines including PMs, developers, ML Engineers and scientists.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
  • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
  • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in Fine tuning, training, deploying and maintaining NLP models, in Production.
