Job Description:

About the role:


We are looking for a person who is proficiency in data cleansing and preparation, knowledge of statistical analysis, and working experience with ETL tools, AWS tools and services like AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS QuickSight, AWS Athena. And make data visualization tools like Tableau as well as Excel and Database SQL querying skills.

 

A day in this role:

 

  • Understand the full life cycle of data processing in the Automotive environment, from acquisition to data load to database integration to QA validation
  • Understand the business and product uses for our data
  • Define and monitor relevant data quality metrics to track improvements and identify areas of concern
  • Capability to understand business rules and technical design to be able to set up data quality tests and execute them, including creating test cases and test scripts to validate data integrity
  • Familiarity with data quality automation tools and software like Python to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency
  • Implement data quality audits to identify data inconsistencies and errors
  • Perform data profiling, including analyzing data distributions, identifying outliers, and calculating descriptive statistics
  • Presenting data insights clearly and concisely through reports and visualizations
  • Understand detailed vehicle descriptions and recognize potential issues
  • Understand end-to-end data processing and be able to explain complex data findings to non-technical audiences 
  • Produce ad-hoc reporting and complete special analytical projects that are used as input into product design decisions
  • Perform research and root cause analysis of individual data issues and customer complaints.
  • Work closely with cross-functional development teams to help establish and enforce data use standards and documentation for existing and new products
  • Staying updated on data quality best practices and emerging technologies in terms of QA automation

 

The expertise requested:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of professional experience, including data analysis and data QA
  • Have data warehousing knowledge and advanced skills with SQL, UNIX, and database query tools
  • Have AWS experience.
  • Must have a Data QA mindset with experience working on files in Unix or AWS S3 and databases, creating test cases, test execution, and QA automation using Python, etc.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and other data analytics tools, such as Tableau
  • Must be a detail-oriented, quick learner, creative thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with people at all levels; must be a great team player
  • Confident, energetic self-starter with a high sense of urgency and good follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment, excellent time management and organization skills.
