Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our analytics team, leveraging data science techniques to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling and will collaborate with data engineers and analysts to deliver insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models to analyze patterns, predict trends, and support strategic business goals.
• Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to optimize business processes and improve decision-making.
• Collaborate with data engineers to process, clean, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Design and conduct experiments to measure the impact of various initiatives and models.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to support scalable analysis and real-time analytics.
• Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in data science and machine learning to continuously enhance our capabilities.

About the contract:

• The role is a long-term (one-year renewable) contract position through Xenon7, which is the approved vendor of the client. 
• The payments are paid out in gross amount in USD on a monthly schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in data science or related fields, with proven expertise in building and deploying machine learning models.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their machine learning services is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
