Your Role:
As a People Technology Architect (Reports and Analytics), you will play a critical role in leveraging data and technology to enhance processes and deliver actionable insights that drive client success. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their unique requirements, tailoring solutions that improve decision-making and facilitate strategic enhancements. Your proficiency in report generation using Workday and other reporting tools, alongside your capabilities in data visualization and analytics, will directly contribute to our organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Report Generation and Data Visualization:
- Workday Reports: Design and develop comprehensive reports utilizing Workday reporting tools to provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights into HR and business metrics.
- Spreadsheet Tools: Create and manage reports using Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or other spreadsheet applications to effectively convey key data to stakeholders.
- Data Visualization: Utilize data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to develop interactive dashboards that empower clients to make informed decisions, enhancing visibility into critical data.
Data Analysis and Modeling:
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring analytics solutions align with business objectives and deliver actionable insights.
- Data Models and Pipelines: Construct robust data models and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, empowering reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Analytical Techniques: Employ advanced analytical methods to derive insights regarding customer behavior, industry trends, and operational efficiencies.
Process Optimization:
- Identify Improvement Opportunities: Analyze existing processes for potential enhancements, utilizing data-driven insights to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
- Implement Best Practices: Introduce innovative solutions to optimize workflows and foster operational excellence within the People Technology team.
- Continuous Evaluation: Regularly assess and refine analytics processes to ensure effectiveness, adaptability, and alignment with client needs.
Technology Selection and Implementation:
- Research and Evaluation: Investigate and evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms that can enhance capabilities in report generation, data visualization, and analytics.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new solutions into the existing infrastructure with minimal disruption to operations, advancing overall technological efficiency.
Data Governance and Security:
- Data Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the data governance team to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Security Protocols: Develop and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in data handling.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience (5+ years).
- Proven experience in report generation and data visualization, specifically with Workday and tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to identify opportunities and create actionable solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance regulations.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and project management skills; proficient in managing multiple stakeholders and expectations.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and database management systems.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, R, or SQL) is highly regarded.
