[What you will be working on]
You will be part of a team in the Financial Advisers Supervision Department (FAS) managing data. The role involves collaborating with internal partners to ensure the smooth onboarding and ingestion of FAS data onto MAS’ enterprise data lake. This includes working closely with other departments to facilitate the integration of FAS data from different sources into a centralized platform.
As part of this role, you would also create a comprehensive catalogue of FAS’ business data inventory for better data management and utilization.
Beyond these core responsibilities, there may be opportunities to contribute to FAS’ data analytics projects. For example, you may work on refining existing data dashboards and developing new ones to support FAS officers’ day-to-day supervision.
There will also be opportunities to be involved in the supervision of financial advisers and insurance brokers.
[What we are looking for]
Strong data project management skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Proficiency in data visualisation (i.e. developing data dashboards) and data wrangling (i.e. cleaning, transformation and structuring data) using Tableau, Python and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Experience in machine learning using Python is also preferred.
